ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Alyque Padamsee
was director of the Theatre Group of Bombay and chief executive of Lintas India. Considered the guru of English theatre in India, he had over seventy-six major productions to his name, including Broken Images, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. Informally known as 'God' in advertising circles, he successfully launched and built over a hundred brands. Padamsee was communications adviser to Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, where he supervized the presentation to the US President Bill Clinton and to the British Prime Minister Tony Blair. He was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for Theatre by the Sangeet Natak Akademi and was a recipient of the Padma Shri.
Vandana Saxena Poria
is a disruptive thinker, international speaker and author based in India. A UK Chartered Accountant and certified inter-cultural specialist, she has been an active champion in the UK-India ecosystem, honoured with an OBE for services to trade and investment in India in 2008, and a top 100 UK India influencer in 2019. Collaborating with innovative forward thinking organisations such as EQLabs in Hong Kong and Human Insights in The Netherlands, Vandana brings bleeding edge ideas to local markets for co-creation and implementation. She uses proprietary methodologies that she has developed over the last thirty years working on three continents, to disrupt mindsets and bring in a change in thought patterns through Key Journey Indicators. A well-known voice in the space of Diversity and inclusion for many decades, she has curated and deliver multi-country global internship workshops to build relationships between the organisation and their new students, and delivered experiential transformation programmes with organisations both large and small.
